Passion for engaging the audience
Kieron has been a member of Equity since his first professional tours across the UK and Europe in 1998. He enjoys working in the UK and around the world performing his drama workshops and theatre shows for children and adults. His passion for Shakespeare is no secret and he is proud to be able to bring the words of the Bard to thousands of students every year through his theatre and film work. He is fascinated with theatre-for-business, and in particular how theatre in the workplace can not only boost a boring meeting but also increase revenue through motivating a sales team.
"Laughter is a powerful motivator. A well devised drama activity can take you out of your box, enable you to see things from a different perspective and ultimately inspire you to better results in school and in the office."

Lost in the moment!
Kieron enjoys combining his love for languages with theatre to help students practice and improve their English language skills. He speaks German, Italian, Portuguese, French and a little Danish too. His theatre in language learning (TILL) work takes him across Europe and even to the favelas of Brazil. At the moment Kieron is developing his TILL methodology predominantly in Denmark and Brazil.
"I believe that the arts should challenge the way we think and the way we educate. I never stop developing and learn something new every time I perform. It doesn't matter if you are in Bristol or Brazil, people are the same when theatre is at its best. That is what I strive for always in my work. The moment when everyone is immersed, lost, in the drama."
Big teams and small!
When Kieron began as an actor he starred in dramas, documentaries and adverts for anything from music CDs to throat pastilles working with the BBC, Channel 4 and ACNE Films in Sweden. In 2003 he was hired as a presenter for Athena Education and then went on to become the in-house script writer and director eventually producing six films for Athena. Kieron has also worked with MEE3d, Channel 4 and the BBC with his Shakespeare projects: Shakespeare Works! and Shakespeare in the favelas!
"I love working in front and behind the camera. It's a great experience to be part of a big production, but equally as thrilling to be just you, camera and actors. With the advances in handheld cameras almost anyone now can produce good quality pictures. The power is in the idea and more often than not, the brilliance lies within the creative spirit of the production team."
The blockflute is awesome!
Kieron has played the piano since he was "knee high to a grasshopper". He writes and produces the soundtracks for most of our film productions. He also creates sound effects and voice overs for radio ads and computer games (that's him yelling on our software package Shakespeare Works! oh yes he wrote and performed the theme tune for the movie too!). You can listen to Kieron's latest tracks now by clicking "play" on the left!
"I also toot the "blockflute". If you book one of our Shakespeare shows then you may experience this in full flow!"
